We acted as legal counsel for a major client in the Supply & Manufacturing industry in the framework of the restructuring of its operations in Greece. We advised the client on all insolvency considerations, issues arising from capital controls, potential liability issues, ranking of privileged and other creditors and various day-to day corporate and insolvency matters related with the restructuring, negotiations with counter-parts until all final transfers and ancillary transactions were completed. Apart from the international elements and involvement of several companies of the group of the  Client in different jurisdictions, the concurrent satisfaction of conditions precedent / subsequent in various jurisdictions as well as a close review of each particular aspect of the transaction under Greek Insolvency laws was necessary to bring the matter to completion.
