Elia is a Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate team and supports the assignments of the team relating to public law issues arising during the legal due diligence as well as the planning and construction of energy related infrastructure projects or real estate assets under privatization.

Elia advises on all the issues pertaining to environmental, forest, urban planning-zoning and regulatory-licensing matters as part of the design and implementation of large scale infrastructure projects or special uses installations (e.g. industrial plants, hotel facilities, RES projects, airports).

Her skills include also management of real estate projects from the legal due diligence perspective and has a strong background in advising and resolving complicated ownership status issues regarding public real estate assets under privatization and private real assets for which Elia has performed extensive legal due diligence on such matters.

Her unique understanding of the most complex public and private law issues, both advisory and litigation, renders Elia the “go-to person” for all complex real estate matters. In 2018, Elia was the firm’s representative at MIPIM 2018 in Cannes, the world’s leading real estate property market. Elia heads all complex real-estate due diligence teams, including in relation to key assets for privatization acting both for banks and quasi_State entities, the VHPH real estate transaction (Hines and Henderson), Hellinikon Project, Kafireas, Vermio, and Terna Evoia complex RES wind projects.
