KG advises Starvert Energy on the development of its Greek pipeline of large-scale photovoltaic projects combined with battery storage

KG’s Energy Infrastructure team is proud to announce that it is acting for STARVERT Energy for the development of their Greek portfolio of photovoltaic parks combined with battery storage. Starvert’s Greek portfolio includes two projects of 300 MW each, located in Farsala, Thessaly, and Fokis, Central Greece. On Tuesday, STARVERT Energy expanded its portfolio to a total of 900 MW, with the addition of two more PV parks, 125 MW and 175 MW, situated in Erythres, Attica, and Boeotia. The company aims to further develop its Greek assets in the near future.

Our team, led by Senior Partner Gus J. Papamichalopoulos, along with Senior Associate Antonis N. Koumpias and Junior Associate Petros Fotakis, has successfully managed the process of securing land rights, producing the Development Services Agreements (DSAs), and establishing the special purpose vehicles (SPVs) that hold the project licenses, and has provided comprehensive support to STARVERT Energy throughout all development stages of their Greek pipeline to date.
