The future of healthcare was never going to be shaped by one policy, one technology or one sector acting alone, and the 25th HealthWorld Conference made exactly that point.
Over two days, HealthWorld 2026, organised by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce under the theme“Health is Wealth: Policy – Innovation – Impact”, brought together policymakers, industry, academia, patient organisations and international institutions to discuss the decisions that will shape the next day of healthcare.
With interventions from the Minister of Health, the European Commissioner for Health, senior officials from Greece and abroad, and leading voices from the scientific and business community, the discussions moved across the strategic priorities, the role of innovation and investment, demographic change and healthy longevity, and the sustainability of healthcare funding.
What stayed with us was a message that ran consistently through the panels: health can no longer be treated purely as a cost. The challenges facing healthcare are interconnected and so are the solutions.
Our KG Life Sciences and Healthcare team attended both days, following the discussions and engaging with professionals and stakeholders from across the healthcare and life sciences community.
We were pleased to support this year’s anniversary HealthWorld Conference and look forward to continuing the conversations it started.
