The National Organization for Medicines (“EOF” as per its Greek initials) announced yesterday that companies of EOF-regulated products may sponsor the participation of HCPs in online and hybrid scientific events organized abroad (registration and certificate of attendance) beyond the limits of the Circular under no. 37201/23.03.2020 as regards the total number of HCPs per scientific event organized abroad [up to ten (10) HCPs for Europe and up to five (5) HCPs for the rest of the world], provided that the sponsored expenses do not exceed for each company the amount of the sponsorship determined for the organization of the respective event with physical presence.

Companies of EOF-regulated products must send by e-mail to EOF for pre-approval the number of HCPs they are intending to sponsor for online or hybrid scientific events organized abroad and the relevant documentation, provided that the aforementioned conditions are met.
