KG Law Firm jointly with the company “COFELY Hellas S.A.” participated in the “Environmental Awards 2015” organized by  Boussias Communications since 2012. The awards are established in recognition of the initiatives and good practices applied by companies for “Environment and Sustainability”.

Our firm jointly with COFELY Hellas S.A. was awarded during a special ceremony, which took place on December 17th at Athenaeum Intercontinental hotel, the Silver Prize in the category “Energy Services Companies & Consultants”. KG is a pioneer in issues of social and environmental responsibility and has partnered with COFELY, a subsidiary of GDF SUEZ Energy Services (a European leader in high efficiency energy and environmental services), in the Energy Assessment and Optimization of KG’s premises of the Athens main building.

KG and COFELY entered into an Energy Performance Agreement in order to achieve energy saving in electricity and in natural gas through several interventions, such as the appropriate adjustments of the electrical systems in order to improve their performance, the upgrading of the existing equipment, as well as replacing all current energy intensive equipment with newer, more efficient and environment-friendly equipment.

KG aims to further reduce its environmental footprint and to intensify its effort to increase the awareness of its employees and friends on environmental issues. This action runs successfully since December 2013.
