This past Saturday, May 18th, we had the pleasure to support the 1st Legal Debate Tournament organized by the Athens Law School Debate Club, held at the Law School of National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. Undergraduate teams competed on current issues in both private and public law, demonstrating their knowledge and argumentative skills.

Our team was thrilled to participate in this intellectually stimulating event, with Partner, and Head of Public Constantinos Kavadellas, Senior Associate Alexia Giagini and Senior Associate Natalia Soulia, and serving as members of the judging panel for each debate round. They were joined by esteemed professors from the Athens Law School, ensuring a rigorous and insightful evaluation process.

We were impressed by the depth of understanding and the persuasive arguments presented by the students. This event not only showcased their talent but also highlighted the importance of legal debate in fostering critical thinking and legal sharpness!
