From Risk to Response: Reflections from LEGAL HORIZONS IN THE AGE OF AI

Last week, Natalia Soulia Counsel, took part in the Cybersecurity & NIS 2 panel at LEGAL HORIZONS IN THE AGE OF AI: Risk, Responsibility and Regulation, organised by Nomiki Bibliothiki at Megaron Athens Concert Hall.

Held under the DITE umbrella, the conference was presented as a renewed platform for dialogue at the intersection of law and technology, bringing together keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking around AI, cybersecurity and the digital economy. Public event materials also highlighted agenda themes including Cybersecurity – NIS 2, Lawyers’ Code of Conduct, Change Management & AI Training, and Algorithmic Hiring.

Against that backdrop, the discussion on “From Risk Management to Incident Response: The New Regulatory Landscape” underlined a point that continues to gain urgency: cybersecurity compliance is no longer a standalone legal exercise, but a broader governance, preparedness and response challenge for organisations. Thank you to Nomiki Bibliothiki, fellow speakers and all participants for a timely and substantive exchange.
