On 8 March 2018, Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law Firm partner, Theodore Rakintzis,  participated in the “NPL Europe” conference launched in London by Smithnovak, a leading forum for NPL transactions in Europe. 

Theodore moderated a panel discussing the recent trends in NPL activity in Greece. The conference had significant turnout from the full spectrum of market players, bringing together bank sellers, loan investors and key government entities establishing the NPL resolution framework.

Theodore emphasised the progress achieved in the field of enhancing creditors’ protection in the enforcement process as well as the merits of electronic auctions in rendering NPE acquisitions more attractive for investors.
