The State Council has decided (ruling 2389/2016) that thermal/healing springs, when exploited as a healing tool by operating clinics, are not to be presumed as common in use / shared goods according to relevant provisions of the Civil Code.

Subsequently, it is allowed to be of private use. This decision was issued in regards to the thermal springs in Aidipsos and subsequent to an annulment petition filed against the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund, i.e. HRADF (ΤΑΙΠΕΔ) concerning the privatization of the springs.
