Efthalia is a dual-qualified EU and UK lawyer with extensive experience advising financial institutions on complex financial services regulation and capital markets matters. Her background spans private practice, senior in-house leadership roles and the UK Financial Conduct Authority, including the UK Listing Authority, where she advised on IPOs, listing eligibility and primary markets regulation. She brings deep expertise in FCA supervisory frameworks, EU/UK regulatory reforms, payments, lending, open banking, data-driven financial services and product development, including regulatory perimeter assessments, authorisations, governance and conduct obligations.
A significant part of Efthalia’s career has focused on banking, ESG regulation and sustainable finance. She has led the design and implementation of ESG governance and sustainable finance frameworks within global regulated institutions, aligning regulatory and disclosure obligations. She has advised on supervisory engagement, regulatory investigations and major legislative reforms, including post-Brexit and sustainable finance initiatives. Her cross-disciplinary and cross-border experience positions her to play a pivotal role in expanding our financial regulatory offering and supporting complex, regulated mandates in the Greek market and beyond.
