Aikaterini (Katerina) is an Associate in Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Technology Law.
Katerina advises clients on the management of data protection issues ranging from data mapping, development of privacy policies, notices and agreements to handling data subjects’ requests and data protection breaches. She also supports organisations with the implementation and monitoring of privacy compliance programs. Katerina brings valuable experience from her focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. Leveraging her knowledge and skills from her participation as a legal expert in public and EU institutions, she navigates the complexities of sectoral and different national laws and can provide strategic legal advice on data governance and cybersecurity. Katerina has been heavily involved in multi-disciplinary work, handling advisory, transactional or litigation work, with a strong focus on privacy, intellectual property as well as health law and ethics. She is a member of a Research Ethics Committee and has rich volunteering experience in health-related organisations.
