Our Firm is proud to have acted as Greek legal advisor to CVC Capital Partners (via Aeolus Holdings S.à r.l.) in connection with its landmark €1.2 billion cornerstone investment in the share capital increase of Public Power Corporation S.A. (“PPC”).

Raising gross proceeds of €4.25 billion, the transaction is the largest capital raising in Greece over the past decade, one of the largest ever completed on Euronext Athens, and among the most significant equity offerings in Europe in recent years. The capital raised will primarily support the implementation of PPC’s transformational €24 billion growth and investment program.

Our team was led by Capital Markets Senior Partner Konstantinos Vouterakos and Partner Apostolos Georgantas, with support from Senior Associate Athanasios Misirlis. Energy law aspects were led by Senior Partner Gus J. Papamichalopoulos with support from Senior Associates, Antonis N. Koumpias and Iakovos Koulouris.
