Apostolos is a Partner at KG Law Firm and a trusted advisor on complex Capital Markets, M&A and Banking & Finance transactions, with a particular focus on high-value and strategically significant mandates.
He advises leading international and domestic clients—including financial institutions, private equity funds, listed companies and state-owned entities—on sophisticated, often cross-border transactions. His practice covers the full spectrum of public and private M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions, corporate finance and complex financing structures, as well as broader corporate and commercial matters.
Apostolos has played a central role in a number of landmark transactions in the Greek market, acting for major international investors on headline deals. These include advising Bally’s Corporation on its strategic transaction with Intralot—one of the most significant and high-profile transactions in Greece in recent years—as well as advising General Atlantic on the tender offer for Epsilon Net. He has also been extensively involved in advising the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) across its major strategic transactions and divestments.
His work regularly involves navigating complex regulatory frameworks and engaging with key supervisory authorities, including the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and the Bank of Greece. He is particularly experienced in transactions involving listed companies, regulated entities and multi-stakeholder environments, where legal, regulatory and commercial considerations are closely intertwined.
Apostolos’ experience includes structuring and negotiating share and asset deals, leading legal due diligence processes, drafting and negotiating shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures, and advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and transactional risk allocation. He is recognised for his ability to combine technical excellence with commercial insight, delivering clear, pragmatic advice on complex and time-sensitive matters.
