Vasileios is Partner of the Banking & Finance team of our firm.
He has worked in complex M&A transactions and public offerings, conducting several due diligence exercises, participating in relevant negotiations and drafting all transaction documents. Vasileios has advised Greek and foreign credit institutions and insurance companies on regulatory issues, contracts and AML issues and several listed companies on capital markets and regulatory issues. Vasileios has advised on several structured transactions and undertaken the contractual arrangements to support them.
His area of practice also includes corporate, contracts corporate governance and real estate law.

Headed the legal due diligence, drafted and negotiated the transaction documents for the acquisition by Allianz SE of the Greek listed insurance undertaking European Reliance and advised its merger with absorption by Allianz Hellas.
Headed the legal due diligence, drafted and negotiated the transaction documents for the acquisition of a Axa Greece insurance undertaking by a Assicurazioni Generali SpA.
Headed the legal due diligence, negotiated the transaction documents and prepared the submission folders for Grimaldi Group’s acquisition of the port companies operating the ports of Heraklion and Igoumenitsa through the successful bidding in respective tenders of HRADF.
