Full Bio

Maria-Eleni is a member of the Competition & Antitrust practice area of the firm. Maria-Eleni provides legal advice on issues concerning anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, merger control and State aid law.

She completed her undergraduate legal studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with First-Class Honours, during which she also acquired a Summer School Certificate in Competition Law from the London School of Economics. Thereafter, she pursued an LL.M. at the University of Cambridge with a focus on European Law, where she delved into the areas of Competition law, EU Trade law, Intellectual Property and International Dispute Resolution. For her First-Class performance at the LL.M., she was awarded the Robinson College Postgraduate Scholarship.

Prior to joining KG, she completed a Blue Book traineeship at the Legal Service of the European Commission, within the State aid & Foreign Subsidies team. Her professional experience also includes a legal traineeship at a Greek public institution and traineeships at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and at the Hellenic Parliament.
