Claire has a long standing working experience with the firm and is an expert in M&A, commercial and corporate law. Her practice focuses mainly on private M&A deals, Group restructurings and joint ventures both at a local and cross border level.
She has been involved in a number of important and complicated cross border as well as local deals involving the acquisition of target companies and business activities in various business fields.
Claire’s practice in commercial law matters extends to franchising, aircraft financing, aircraft operating and finance leasing.

Important Highlights
acted as legal advisor for a leading French cement company for its entrance in the Greek cement and quarry market through the acquisition of a number of Greek legal entities, the most significant being the acquisition of one of the major Greek cement companies and the acquisition of one of the biggest quarries of inert materials in Greece;
acted as legal advisor for a Greek leading airline in its merger by absorption of another Greek private air-carrier;
acted as the Greek legal advisor for a leading German technology company in the acquisition of a German group of companies which included the indirect ownership of Greek companies owning and operating the largest shipyard in Greece and one of the largest in the area of the eastern Mediterranean;
acted as Greek legal advisor for a Canadian company engaged in the gold mining business regarding the acquisition of 100% of the shares of a Greek gold mining company;
acted as legal advisor for a leading US food processing company in the sale of its tomato paste manufacturing activities in Greece to a Greek leading tomato paste manufacturer;
acted as Greek legal advisor for a Swedish Company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, in the acquisition of 100% of the shares of a Greek corporation in the provision of airport security services;
acted as legal advisor to a leading Italian retail gas & power company for the purchase of a controlling participation interest in a leading Greek company in the retail gas and power market.
